Propose a Grant

As a staff member of Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) or of a Community Learning Center, you are invited to submit a proposal for a project for students that school funds will not cover. The idea, which can be a collaboration with a community organization, will be posted online on the Foundation's new Web site. Citizens can browse proposals online and make a tax deductible donation to fully or partially fund a proposal.

When a proposal is funded, teachers will receive their grant, along with a disposable camera for pictures as the project progresses. At the conclusion of the project, the camera is sent to the Foundation for processing along with thank you letters written by students for the donor. Pictures may be used for Foundation purposes. LPS will retain ownership of nonconsumable materials. All purchases must meet LPS criteria. No funds can be used to serve any political purpose.
