Fund-A-Need

Propose a Grant

As a staff member of Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) or of a Community Learning Center, you are invited to submit a proposal for a project for students that school funds will not cover. The idea, which can be a collaboration with a community organization, will be posted online on the Foundation's Website. Citizens can browse proposals online and make a tax deductible donation to fully or partially fund a proposal.

Fourteen percent will be added to your proposal for the Foundation to support this program which includes website management, marketing, photo development, donor appreciation, and general office support.

When a proposal is funded, teachers will be contacted by the Foundation's Donor Relations Coordinator. At the conclusion of the project, teachers are asked to submit photos and a thank you letter that will be passed along to the donor. Pictures and thank you materials may be used for Foundation administrative and marketing purposes. LPS will retain ownership of non-consumable materials. All purchases must meet LPS criteria. No funds can be used to serve any political purpose.
