Fund-A-Need

Everett Ukulele Club 2017-18 #4112

Your gifts will help us expand Everett Elementary's Ukulele Club into something truly special. This has been an incredible music education experience!

Donors helped award 16 ukuleles this spring to students who completed the required ukulele club meetings. Having ukuleles they can own gives students a musical experience they would otherwise not likely have. We want to expand this opportunity to even more Everett students for the 2017-18 school year.

Each semester we will allow a new group of students to enter the club and work toward earning their own FREE ukulele to keep.
* Students will be able to remain active members of ukulele club after earning their own ukulele but they will not be able to get another instrument.
* The goal of the funding request is to provide a student-model ukulele at no cost to each club member who attends 75 percent of club meetings for Quarter 1 and Quarter 3. Different groups of new ukulele club members would receive ukuleles to keep on the first meeting of Quarter 2 and 4.

We have been working with a ukulele builder and a local music retailer to provide instruments at a lower price. Just imagine the impact you could have in providing a quality musical instrument to a student in need!
